![]() And I'm not asking for snooty comments I still honestly don't understand why people would spend their time annoying or insulting people on internet. Now, I'm just asking if anyone here knows what they might have been talking about. The guys that work there for twenty years, though, have more expertise on both software and hardware and they told me that something with data and encryption, created problems when for instance your laptop has water damage. No, I work at a place where we repair laptops, so my expertise lies in hardware. (Not that it matters, but just because I like people to know who they're talking to I'm a 29 yo Dutch woman, but it's okay to call me dude.) Now I'm about to give in and buy a new Macbook just so I can have a portable work-computer with at least 32GB of RAM. I've seen these newer Macbooks (2016 and newer) on the inside and this is why the 2015 15" has forever been my favorite, hardware wise (ports, repaircosts, SSD posibilities etc.). And if yes/no, why (not)?) I've been warned for Catalina and Big Sur for several reasons.
